Apple Cider Pulled Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken breast or thighs

  • 1 cup apple cider (unsweetened)

  • ½ cup low sugar BBQ sauce

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add the chicken and all ingredients to a slow cooker.

  2. Cook on low for 3 hours.

  3. Shred the chicken with two forks.

  4. Serve with rice, potatoes, or in sandwiches.
