Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (25 oz each) frozen cheese or spinach & cheese ravioli

  • 16 oz ground sausage (lean or mild Italian)

  • 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

  • 1 (24 oz) jar Alfredo sauce (your favorite variety)

  • 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

  2. Cook the sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.

  3. Add the spinach: Stir the thawed and squeezed spinach into the cooked sausage and mix well.

  4. Layer the casserole:

    • Spread half of the Alfredo sauce in the baking dish.

    • Layer half of the ravioli, followed by the sausage-spinach mixture.

    • Repeat with the remaining ravioli and Alfredo sauce.

  5. Top with cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

  6. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.

  7. Cool and serve: Let cool slightly before serving.

Tips:

  • No need to boil the ravioli— it will cook in the sauce while baking.

  • Extra flavor: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before baking.

  • Fresh garnish: Add fresh basil or parsley before serving.

  • Variations: Try different ravioli fillings or Alfredo sauce flavors for variety.
