Ingredients:
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 oz (2 ¼ cups) whole-wheat pasta (any shape)
1 (15 oz) jar store-bought Alfredo sauce
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat the sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the Alfredo sauce until smooth and slightly thickened.
Cook the shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pink and fully cooked.
Combine pasta and sauce: Add drained pasta to the skillet with the shrimp and Alfredo sauce. Stir to coat evenly.
Season and finish: Stir in Parmesan cheese (if using), garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until the sauce is heated through and the cheese melts.
