Ingredients:

  • 1 bag (16 oz) tortilla chips

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)

  • 1/2 cup cooked beef, shredded

  • 1/4 cup guacamole

  • 1/4 cup salsa

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt & pepper. Once browned, drain any excess grease.

  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  4. Spread tortilla chips evenly across the baking sheet. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the chips, followed by the cooked beef.

  5. Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. Remove from the oven and top with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, jalapeños, or any other toppings you like. Serve immediately.

    Tips:

  • Sturdy Chips: Use thick tortilla chips to hold up well during baking.

  • Toppings: Customize with sour cream, black beans, corn, tomatoes, onions, peppers, or hot sauce.

  • Cheese Variety: Combine different cheeses for a richer flavor.

  • Homemade Guacamole: If you don’t have guacamole, make your own or use store-bought.

  • Spice It Up: Add chili powder, jalapeños, or hot sauce for extra heat.
