Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (makes 4 patties)

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 4 slices cheese

  • 6 slices bacon

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Patties: Season ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 small patties (or 2 large ones).

  2. Caramelize Onions: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook for about 10 minutes until caramelized, stirring occasionally.

  3. Cook Bacon: In a separate pan over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  4. Cook Beef Patties: In the same pan as bacon (or a clean skillet), heat over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness. Add a slice of cheese on top during the last minute.

  5. Cook Eggs: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Crack eggs into the pan and cook until whites are set but yolks are runny (about 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook for an additional 30 seconds if desired.

  6. Assemble: On a plate, stack 2 patties with cheese, top with bacon, caramelized onions, and an egg. Repeat for the second serving.

Tips:

  • Swap beef with a beef-pork blend for more flavor.

  • Add avocado slices or your favorite sauce for extra richness.

  • Adjust egg doneness to your preference – over-hard or scrambled works too.
