Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)

  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion

  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese of choice)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 6 Hawaiian rolls

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional Spice: Paprika, cayenne pepper, or your preferred seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

  2. Prepare the beef mixture: In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, and your chosen spice until just combined.

  3. Shape the patties: Divide the beef mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them into small patties.

  4. Cook the patties: Add olive oil to the skillet or grill pan. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until well-cooked and golden brown. Place the cheese on the patties during the last minute of cooking so it melts.

  5. Toast the rolls: If desired, toast the Hawaiian rolls in the same skillet or on a separate pan.

  6. Assemble the burgers: Place the cooked patties on the Hawaiian rolls. Add your favorite toppings or condiments.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Add pickles, tomatoes, or lettuce for extra flavor.

  • For a spicy kick, mix cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes into the beef mixture.

  • You can also use different bread for healthier option.
