Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) white fish fillets (cod, haddock, or tilapia)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the fish fillets.

  3. In a shallow dish, whisk together the melted butter and beaten egg.

  4. Dip each fish fillet into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated, then press into the grated Parmesan cheese, covering both sides.

  5. Place coated fillets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is fully cooked and the Parmesan crust is golden brown.

  6. Enjoy immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Tips:

  • Fish Options: Use any firm white fish like cod, haddock, or tilapia.

  • Cheese Substitute: If you don’t have Parmesan, use another finely grated cheese.

  • Extra Flavor: Add garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika to the Parmesan for added depth.

  • Crispier Coating: Broil for the last 2 minutes for extra crispiness.

  • Serving Suggestions: Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
