Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • ½ cup chocolate milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons yogurt (optional)

Toppings:

  • Sliced banana

  • Shaved chocolate or chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl or jar, combine chia seeds, chocolate milk, protein powder (if using), and yogurt (if using).

  2. Mix thoroughly to prevent clumping.

  3. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes to allow the chia seeds to begin absorbing the liquid.

  4. Stir again to break up any clumps.

  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Tips:

  • Stirring once before chilling helps achieve a smooth, creamy texture.

  • Add honey or maple syrup if you’d like it a bit sweeter.

  • Want to eat it right away? Blend the mixture for a smoother texture and enjoy immediately—no chilling required.

  • For a treat: Melt a few chocolate chips and drizzle over the top before serving or before chilling.

  • Storage: Keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.
