Coffee Protein Ice Cream (Ninja Creami)

Total Time: 5 minutes prep + freeze overnight + 2–4 minutes spin

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1 scoop coffee-flavored protein powder

  • ½ to 1 tsp instant coffee (adjust to taste)

  • Pinch of salt

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • Optional add-in:

    Chocolate chips or cacao nibs

    Crushed chocolate protein bar

    Chopped nuts

    Swirl of peanut butter or almond butter

    Dash of cinnamon

    Sugar-free caramel drizzle

Instructions:

  1. Mix the base:
    In a bowl or shaker bottle, combine milk, protein powder, instant coffee, salt, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

  2. Freeze:
    Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container.
    Freeze flat for at least 8–12 hours (overnight).

  3. Spin:
    Remove from freezer and place the pint in the Ninja Creami.
    Select the Lite Ice Cream setting.
    If it looks crumbly after the first spin, add 1–2 tablespoons milk and re-spin.
    You may need to re-spin 2–3 times until smooth and creamy.

  4. Add mix-ins:
    Add chocolate chips or any mix-ins you like, and run the Mix-In setting.

Tips:

  • Use decaf coffee if you're enjoying this at night.

  • For a sweeter base, stir in maple syrup or flavored stevia before freezing.

  • Store leftovers in the Ninja pint container and re-spin when ready to eat again.
