Ingredients:

  • 3–4 large lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)

  • 4–5 slices of ham (deli-style)

  • ¼ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite)

  • 1 teaspoon mustard

  • Parchment paper (for wrapping)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the lettuce leaves in cold water for 3–5 minutes to make them easier to roll.

  2. Pat the leaves dry with a clean towel or paper towels.

  3. Lay the leaves flat on a clean surface, overlapping slightly to form a base for wrapping.

  4. Spread mustard evenly across the lettuce.

  5. Layer slices of ham evenly over the mustard.

  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

  7. Starting from the bottom, fold the sides in and roll tightly like a burrito.

  8. Wrap the entire roll in parchment paper to help hold it together.

  9. Slice in half and serve immediately, or store in the fridge for later.

Tips:

  • Iceberg lettuce gives the best crunch, but romaine wraps more easily.

  • Add pickles or sliced cucumbers for extra flavor and texture.

  • Keep chilled and tightly wrapped if prepping ahead.

  • Great as a low-carb lunch, quick snack, or even post-workout option.
